How to Add an Access Key to the Happ App
Until a key is in place, Happ can't connect to any server at all — yet the task itself is just a couple of taps once you know which screen to open.
Key vs. Subscription Link
An access key is a bundle of connection settings that ties the app to your account and its servers. A subscription link performs the same role, but it can update the server list automatically, with no manual work on your part.
- Both come solely from the service Telegram bot
- You can't create a key from within the Happ app itself

Where to Find the Add-Key Screen
On its very first launch, Happ asks you to paste a key. When the app is already set up, you can add a further key straight from the main screen.
- Watch for a "+" icon or an add-subscription option in the interface
- Depending on your version, the screen might say "Add configuration" or "Add subscription"
- Its placement stays the same across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and Smart TV

- Copy the key text or link from the bot's Telegram message
- Open the add screen within Happ
- Paste the copied text into the entry field
- Confirm — the app then fetches the list of available servers

Before you attempt to connect, it's worth verifying the outcome.
- The server list should show at least one entry
- The number of servers that appear depends on your plan
- Connecting to any server and getting a "connected" status proves the key is functioning
Key Won't Add? Things to Check
Now and then the first try fails — the culprit is usually the key text itself or the fact that it has expired.
- Check that the whole key was copied, with nothing cut off and no stray spaces

- If the error persists, ask the Telegram bot for a new key
